Malvern St James Girls’ School
At Malvern St James we ask our girls 'Who Do You Want To Be?' and help them achieve their ambitions with an education that is aspirational and rigorous, set within the framework of a happy, caring and supportive community. We provide the stimulus and challenge needed to develop each of our student's creative thinking and learning abilities to the full, and offer an enviable range of academic and non-academic enrichment opportunities.
The MSJ Aspiration programme extends and stretches girls beyond the classroom, and focuses on preparation for the most sought-after universities in the world and the most competitive courses. We also offer the Extended Project Qualification, and SAT preparation for entry to US universities. We are justifiably proud of our reputation for getting girls to where they want to be.
As well as superb academic teaching and facilities, the depth and breadth of extra-curricular opportunities is unrivalled. Sport, Model United Nations, Young Enterprise, Music, National STEM Challenges, Languages, Expressive Arts and a wealth of clubs and societies mean that students have the scope to find interests which capture their heart and mind. We are proud to be sending girls out into the world equipped with self-confidence, independent thinking, and leadership skills. Our alumnae include innumerable writers, MPs, entrepreneurs and musicians.
With a heritage of over 150 years of educating girls, MSJ is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is on a direct train line from London, Birmingham and key cities. Education is part of Malvern's heritage, and you can see why the Victorians chose this spot ... the breath-taking and inspiring scenery; a town that is big enough to offer cultural events but small enough to walk around safely.
Malvern St James is a community of 450 girls, aged 4-18 years. Girls can board from Year 3 onwards, on a full, weekly or flexi (1-3 nights) basis.
Details of our Open Mornings are available on our website, or if you would like to arrange a personal visit, Taster Day or Boarding Taster, please contact Mrs Emily Harris, Registrar, on firstname.lastname@example.org
