Every child is different so there's no one-size fits all answer when it comes to selecting the right school: However, choosing a school doesn't need to be a headache and this talk will help steer you on how to make the right decision.

Lucy Williams

Lucy Williams, Head Researcher of Tatler's Schools Guide and Director of Tatler Schools Live

Lucy joined Tatler’s Schools Guide team in 2011 as a London researcher. She became Head Researcher in 2014 and is the brains behind Tatler Schools Live as well as the Director of Tatler’s bespoke educational events. She was educated at Wycombe Abbey and is a Modern History graduate of Magdalen College, Oxford. Her first career was as a South East Asian equity analyst and broker in Hong Kong, London and Singapore. She has since lived in New York, volunteered for charities Learning Leaders and Family Friends and was client service director for US college experts, A-List Education. She now combines her Tatler work with providing an educational sounding board to anyone from expectant London mothers to parents exploring university options. She lives in West London, has three delightfully different children in three delightfully different schools and is looking forward to an exam free year after surviving both the 11+ and 13+ last year. With Tatler Schools Live her mission is to empower parents to find the best fit school for their children, whilst promoting the importance of emotional wellbeing (for parents as well as children!)

Charles Bonas

Charles Bonas, Director, Bonas MacFarlane

Charles was a scholar of music at Harrow, read Modern History at Oriel College, Oxford and has further qualifications in law and teaching. He has wide interests in education, having been a tutor, assessor, teacher and school and university advisor for twenty-five years. He is featured regularly in the media as a commentator on supplementary education. He assists a range of education charities.
